IOWD volunteers are deeply engaged in the global discourse on contemporary health issues relevant to the low-resource settings in which we work.  Our medical and nursing experts conduct scientific research to generate new knowledge that advances our understanding of the epidemiology of disease and how to improve delivery of care.  We are committed to making a meaningful contribution to the ongoing scholarly and policy debates that lead to solutions for our patients and their families.  Below is a selected bibliography of the peer-reviewed publications authored by IOWD volunteers.
