IOWD donated hundreds of books for the children of Rwankuba, a village in the mountains outside Kigali.

Basic Life Saving Course in the village of Rwankuba

Rwandan Medical student, Lysa Carolle, co-team leader, answering questions from the patients. Lysa has been working with IOWD for two years; she is presently participating in a research program with IOWD.  

 Participating in this mission were Doctors Cynthia Hall, Stephanie Kielb, Lee Ann Richter, Judith McNicholas, Jeff Clemmons, Anne-Marie Boller, Fatai Ilupeju, Julie Long, Michael McLeary, Richard Berlin, and Julie Kang.

The Anesthesia Nurses were Patricia Weott and Stephanie Langelaar; Operating Room Nurse Marie Williams; Maria Pinzon, Ultra-sound technician, and Liaan Van der Schyf, volunteer.
